Electricity Prices to Increase from Today
The average weighted price of electricity in Armenia will increase by 4.7 drams starting February 1, 2022. However, the existing tariffs for socially vulnerable families will remain unchanged. This decision was made by the Public Services Regulatory Commission during its meeting on December 29, 2021.
For socially vulnerable families, the daytime and nighttime tariffs will continue to be 29.99 drams and 19.99 drams, respectively. For residents consuming up to 200 kWh per month, the daytime tariff will rise from the current 44.98 drams to 46.48 drams, while the nighttime tariff will increase from 34.98 drams to 36.48 drams.
For residents consuming between 201-400 kWh per month, the daytime tariff will change from 44.98 drams to 48.48 drams, and the nighttime tariff will adjust from 34.98 drams to 38.48 drams. For those consuming over 400 kWh, the daytime tariff will increase from 47.98 drams to 53.48 drams, and the nighttime tariff will rise from 37.98 drams to 43.48 drams.
