Fire Breaks Out in Dilijan Forest; Firefighters Extinguish Flames After Nearly Three Hours

On February 5, at 14:57, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a call reporting a fire in a grass-covered area adjacent to the Central Bank in Dilijan. Two firefighting units were dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department to the scene.

It was determined that the fire had erupted within the territory of the 'Hayantar' State Non-Commercial Organization's 'Dilijan National Park.' The fire was contained at 17:18 and extinguished by 18:15. Approximately 33 hectares of grassland were burned, and around 120 fir trees were scorched.
