Stunt Car Accident in Tsaghkadzor: Driver Found to be Under the Influence
On February 5, a stunt car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 1:20 AM, 28-year-old Rafik Nubyaryan, a resident of Yerevan, lost control of his BMW on Saralanj Street in Tsaghkadzor, near the "Salt and Bread" restaurant complex, veering off the roadway and landing overturned in a debris flow.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver was rescued from the vehicle by bystanders and was subsequently taken to the "Hrazdan" medical center.
Emergency responders from the Hrazdan Fire and Rescue Service No. 44 quickly arrived at the scene with one firefighting team. They disconnected the power to the vehicle and then assisted the injured man into the ambulance from the "Hrazdan" medical center before returning the vehicle to its upright position.
The driver underwent a sobriety test, revealing that he was under the influence.
