In Yerevan, an inmate wanted to use a dental clinic restroom, where drugs and mobile phones were found
On February 2, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. This was reported by shamshyan.com. Around 16:30, the Shengavit police department received a call from 32-year-old Azat S., a resident of Kotayk province, who stated that he had accompanied inmate Karen Sh. to a dental clinic on Garegin Nzhdeh Street for medical assistance, and that he wanted to use the restroom of the dental clinic afterwards.
According to the news agency, before using it, the restroom was inspected by them, where a suspicious package and a mobile phone were discovered.
From the mentioned location, two iPhones were found and four packages containing substances resembling marijuana, weighing 8.33 grams, 9.16 grams, 6.14 grams, and 7.66 grams, along with 1.15 grams of opium were recovered.
In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Shengavit police, and an expert examination has been appointed. The police are also clarifying the circumstances under which the suspicious items ended up in the dental clinic restroom.
