Famous Singer's Wife Involved in Pedestrian Accident in Yerevan; Driver Did Not Flee

Today, on February 3, a pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 13:50, a resident of Yerevan, 33-year-old Lilit G., struck pedestrian Eliza E. with her Nissan Murano in front of the building at 62/3 Republic Street.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and called for Yerevan's emergency medical services at 1-03, as well as the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 9-11. She then assisted the arriving doctors and rescuers in transporting the injured to the number 1 university hospital.

Police are also present at the scene.

The driver underwent a sobriety test and was found to be sober.

According to Shamshyan's sources, the driver is the wife of the beloved and well-known singer Ara Martirosyan, who also arrived at the scene.
