Gas Station Employee Hospitalized Due to Fire
On February 2, at 11:43, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report about a vehicle on fire near 8 Artsakh Street in Yerevan.
In response to the complexity of the fire, categorized as "1 BIS," four fire-fighting teams from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan were dispatched to the scene, along with the on-duty group from the Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations Organizing Division and an operational team from the National Center for Crisis Management.
As the fire situation escalated, a "Level 2" alarm was declared, resulting in the dispatch of two additional fire-fighting teams from the same department.
The fire was contained by 12:08 and extinguished by 12:42. The gas station building, with an area of 7 square meters, and a "GAZ 53" fuel truck were burned.
A gas station employee, identified as L.B. (born in 1985), suffered second and third-degree burns on the face and upper limbs and was hospitalized at the National Burn Center, where doctors assessed his condition as moderate.
