Video: Why a 42-Year-Old Man Set Fire to a Building in Russia
The Russian Investigative Committee has released a video showing the arson of a building in the Chertanovo district near Moscow, where people were forced to escape by breaking into an eighth-floor apartment through the window from the ninth floor.
It is noted that two students lived in the burned three-room apartment, and that day they had two friends visiting. The cause of the fire was not understood until they viewed the footage from the camera installed in their apartment.
The young people sustained varying degrees of burns. It turns out that the home was set on fire by a 42-year-old suspect, who is seen in the video explaining himself to investigators. It has also been revealed that he has a long history of convictions.
