US Nurses Sold $1.5 Million in Fake COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates

Two nurses, Julie DeVuono and Marissa Urrao, have been arrested in New York for allegedly selling vaccination certificates against COVID-19 to unvaccinated patients, ABC reports.

Authorities in the United States accuse them of selling fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates worth $1.5 million.

According to the investigation, the nurses entered their clients' names into the state vaccination database. They charged $220 for each adult and $85 for each child.

During a raid, authorities discovered $900,000 in cash. Additionally, they found records indicating that the criminal scheme had netted them $1.5 million. The crimes took place between November 2021 and January 2022.
