Lavrov: It Is Difficult to Call NATO a Defensive Alliance

Lavrov stated that it is difficult to call NATO a defensive alliance, considering its past actions. This was reported by the Эхо Москвы Telegram channel.

“In a response from Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, it is proudly stated that NATO is a defensive alliance. It is difficult to call it defensive. Do not forget that they bombed Yugoslavia for almost three months, invaded Libya, violating UN Security Council resolutions, and how they behaved in Afghanistan,” the Russian Foreign Minister reminded.
