Tragic Incident in Aparan: Husband Found Dead in Bathroom, Wife Near Door

On January 27, a tragic incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 5:10 PM, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a call from the 9-11 crisis management center reporting that the residents of an apartment at 11 Mashtots Street in the city of Aparan were not responding to door knocks or phone calls.

According to shamshyan.com, rescuers, in the presence of witnesses, opened the door to the house and discovered a man's body in the bathroom, while the woman's body was found near the bathroom door.

A team from the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Aragatsotn regional investigative department is currently working at the scene. Preliminary information suggests that both individuals died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to sources, they were a married couple. Investigations are underway, and several examinations have been ordered, including a forensic examination.
