Car Crashes into Tree on Yerevan-Sevan Road: One Dead and Several Injured
On January 28, at 11:22 AM, the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, stating that a vehicle had overturned and there were trapped citizens.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that at the 49th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a Mitsubishi Pajero had veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, closed the valve of the gas cylinder, and extricated the driver’s body along with three injured individuals, subsequently bringing them closer to the ambulance. The injured were hospitalized at the Hrazdan Medical Center, where doctors assessed the condition of two of the victims as serious, while the third was deemed satisfactory.
