The Mayor Has a New Advisor: Salary Amount Revealed

The advisor to the Mayor of Yerevan, Davit Jgnavorian, has been replaced by a new advisor.

Yerevan's newly elected mayor, Hrachya Sargsyan, has made personnel changes in the city hall. Specifically, it has been reported on the official page of the municipality that Sargsyan has signed an order dismissing Deputy Mayor Sergei Harutyunyan. Harutyunyan had held the deputy mayor's position since 2018.

In another decree from the Mayor of Yerevan, Garik Barseghyan has been appointed as the mayor’s advisor. Barseghyan's salary will be 629,000 drams. It is noteworthy that Barseghyan has been appointed in place of Davit Jgnavorian. He posted on his Facebook page yesterday stating that he submitted his resignation to the Mayor of Yerevan on January 17 and ceased to carry out his duties as the mayor's advisor starting from the 18th.
