Sergey Lavrov has noted that there is a change in the tone of dialogue between the West and Russia. According to the Foreign Minister, this shift occurred after the country’s defense industry made significant breakthroughs.

“When the defense industry made a huge leap, the Russian Armed Forces became what they are now, and the tone of the conversation with us changed. This does not mean that one should always rely on brute force, but as the American saying goes, when the gun is in your pocket, they start talking to you more politely,” Lavrov said.
