Man's Body Found in a Cabin in Yerevan
On January 22, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 12:40 PM, the police department of Erebuni received a report that a man's body was found in a cabin located in the area in front of the building at 12/3 Atoyann Passage.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, the operatives from the Erebuni police department, headed by Chief Armen Gasparyan, promptly arrived. Additionally, patrol officers from the 3rd platoon of the 2nd company of the Yerevan Patrol Service arrived quickly, led by Company Commander Levon Badalyan and Platoon Commander Arman Martirosyan.
The area was cordoned off by patrol officers Hakob Asatryan and Gevorg Hovhannisyan so that the forensic examiner could inspect the body.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, there were no signs of violence on the body. The man had succumbed to the cold.
Investigative activities at the scene are led by Senior Investigator Torgom Matevosyan of the Erebuni police’s investigative department, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
The Erebuni police and patrol officers, taking necessary operational measures, determined that the deceased was 48-year-old Tigran Ayvazyan, who had no fixed place of residence. An autopsy has been ordered by the investigator.
