Car Accident in Yerevan: Opel Flips Over

Today, on January 9, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:15 AM, at the intersection of Bargratuni and Chekhov streets, a collision took place between a Hyundai Sonata driven by 34-year-old Hayk Markosyan from Armavir Province and an Opel Combo driven by 38-year-old Edgar Antonian from Yerevan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Opel flipped over. An emergency medical team promptly arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the driver of the Opel; however, he refused to go to the hospital.

Since the overturned Opel partially blocked the traffic lane, patrolling officers Armen Muradyan and Arthur Hakobyan managed to regulate the traffic effectively, preventing any congestion.
