Body of a Man Found Inside a Car

On January 8, a mysterious incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 00:40, the 4th substation of the Yerevan 1-03 ambulance received a report to the Erebuni police department and the Nubarashen police department that an ambulance crew had responded to a call near the Nubarashen psychiatric hospital, where they discovered a man's body inside a vehicle.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the head of the Erebuni police department, Armen Gasparyan, and the head of the Nubarashen police department, Karen Hovhannisyan, arrived at the scene. A group from the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, led by senior investigator G. Baldryan, also arrived at the investigative department for the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts. Additionally, officers from the patrol service of the Republic of Armenia's police, led by the commander of the 3rd platoon of the 1st company in Yerevan, Gevorg Torosyan, as well as patrol officers Alik Hovhannisyan and Karen Hambardzumyan, promptly arrived to cordon off the area for the investigative team to conduct a scene examination.

Police and investigators found the body of 63-year-old A. B., a resident of the Nubarashen administrative district, inside a Ford Transit vehicle parked near the psychiatric hospital. According to preliminary information, he allegedly committed suicide by hanging in the car's interior.

Materials are being prepared in the investigative department regarding the incident. By the investigator's decision, several examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the body.
