Unknown Individuals Vandalize Monument of Fallen Soldier Samvel Atoyan and Steal Solar Light

On January 1, an act of desecration occurred in Yerevan. This was reported by shamshyan.com. At noon, a call was received by the Kanaker-Zeytun police department, notifying them that a solar lighting device had been stolen from a cemetery on Fanarjyan Street, and the flag had been damaged.

According to the news source, it was determined that on the same day, between 03:00 and 10:00, an unknown individual or individuals damaged the flagpole of the grave of Samvel Atoyan, who fell in the 44-day Artsakh War, breaking it and stealing the solar light device installed on it.
