Stabbing Near Bakery: Doctors Fight for Victim's Life

At around 00:20, the Vagharshapat Medical Center notified the Vagharshapat police that a citizen had been admitted with a "stab wound to the abdomen and chest area" diagnosis.
According to the news outlet, law enforcement determined that the victim is 29-year-old Erik M., a resident of the Armavir region. While doctors fought for the victim's life, officers from Vagharshapat's criminal investigation department found out that the victim had been taken to the hospital around 23:15 on January 2 from near the bakery “Hot Bread,” where he had been attacked with a sharp object by an unknown individual.
Police quickly identified the alleged assailant, 42-year-old Andranik H., also a resident of the Armavir region. After explanatory work with him, the suspect voluntarily presented himself to the Vagharshapat police department, where he was taken to the investigative department and subsequently arrested by order of the investigator.
An investigation is underway at the Vagharshapat investigative department, with several examinations ordered, including a forensic medical examination.
