Azerbaijani Soldier Detonates Mine in Karvajar Region

An Azerbaijani soldier has detonated a mine in the Karvajar region under Azerbaijan's control, according to a report by RIA Novosti, citing Azerbaijan's defense ministry.

"A soldier of the Azerbaijani army, Eyniyef Yusif Suleyman oglu, stepped on a mine near the Kelbajar region and sustained injuries. Eyniyef has been evacuated to a military medical facility. An investigation is underway regarding the incident," the statement said.
