Large Fire in the Parking Lot of the 'Hrazdan' Medical Center
Yesterday, December 20, an emergency incident occurred in the Kotayk region. At around 23:55, the 911 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call that a vehicle was on fire in the parking lot of the 'Hrazdan' Medical Center in Hrazdan city.
According to shamshyan.com, a firefighting team consisting of one unit from the Hrazdan firefighting brigade of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived promptly. The firefighters, along with hospital staff and two inspectors from the 2nd Battalion of the Road Police’s 2nd Division, extinguished the fire that had erupted in a Kia Optima vehicle.
According to preliminary information, fortunately, there were no injuries. The operational team from the Hrazdan police department also arrived at the scene, led by the department head Ruben Nersisyan. The Road Police’s 2nd Battalion’s 3rd Division, commanded by Arthur Petrosyan and Sergeant Sargis Bagratyan, secured the area to prevent curious citizens from parking their vehicles, allowing firefighters to work.
According to the site, the vehicle belongs to 39-year-old Ashot Galstyan, a resident of Hrazdan, who works as a resuscitator in the 'Hrazdan' Medical Center's intensive care unit.
