Six Children Die After Falling from Inflatable Bouncer in Australia

Six children have died and several others have sustained serious injuries after falling from an inflatable bouncer at a school in Tasmania, Australia. This was reported on Thursday by the local police department.

“Nine children were seriously injured as a result of the incident that occurred on Thursday. Unfortunately, six children have died,” stated Police Commissioner Darren Hine. Initial reports had indicated the death of five children.

On December 16, during a traditional end-of-year celebration at Devonport Primary School (Tasmania), the inflatable bouncer was lifted approximately 10 meters into the air by strong winds, causing the children to fall.
