Body of a Man Discovered on Abovyan Street in Yerevan

Today, around 16:00, the police operations management center received a report about a dead body found in the street area of building 35 on Abovyan Street. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the patrol officers discovered the man's body at the specified location and secured the area.

Currently, police and patrol officers are waiting for a team from the Yerevan investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia to arrive at the scene. The police and the investigative division are trying to identify the deceased.

According to G. Shamshyan's reports, the deceased was an 82-year-old resident of the same building, S. H., who, according to preliminary information, had previously worked as a lecturer at one of Armenia's universities and was a professor.
