According to 168.am, there are rumors that the new Chief of Staff will be appointed, as Emergency Situations Minister Andranik Piloyan is expected to take that position. He will be replaced by Armen Pambukhchyan, currently serving as Deputy Minister.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, 168.am reported that the issue of dismissing Chief of Staff Artak Davtyan and replacing him with another general was discussed at the Ministry of Defense.

Auroranews.am contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations, where the news was denied, stating that this information has been circulating for about a week but has no basis in reality.

We also reached out to the Presidential Administration, which confirmed that at this moment, the presidential office has not received any proposal regarding the dismissal of Chief of Staff Artak Davtyan or the appointment of Emergency Situations Minister Andranik Piloyan to that position.
