I don’t know about that, I have been invited to the Prosecutor's Office, but during the National Assembly's four-day sessions, I called and said that I would present myself later. This was stated today, December 10, in a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly by Seyran Ohanyan, the head of the ‘Armenia’ faction, addressing the news that a seizure has been imposed on his property.

To the question of whether he has any property that is illegal, Ohanyan responded, ‘What I have declared, this is what I possess, or what my family has declared, we own that property. What they want to present, previously this joint stock company has gone through all the necessary state procedures by government decision and all measures implemented by the professional authority resulted in accusations against me, which I do not accept.’

To the question of whether his declared property has been seized, he replied, ‘I don’t know; I will go to the Prosecutor's Office and clarify. The notification does not specify which property we are talking about.’

It is noteworthy that in cases of illegal property confiscation, the court has imposed a seizure on the property of several former high-ranking officials and their relatives, satisfying the request of the Prosecutor's Office. The seizure has been applied as a means of securing the claim for the confiscation of illegal property. Specifically, the Prosecutor General's Office has investigated the legality of property acquired by former Minister of Defense, Seyran Ohanyan, Member of Parliament from the ‘Armenia’ faction, his wife, Rouzanna Khachatryan, and a related person, Jacques Fovo, as well as Vachagan Ghazaryan, the former head of the security detail of Serzh Sargsyan, along with his wife, daughter, and son, and has recommended that a seizure be imposed on their properties, which has been approved.
