How the 'Heroic Guys' Transformed into 'Cowards': Abrahamyan

The accusations and criticism towards the authorities regarding the individuals captured as a result of the Azerbaijani aggression on November 16, following the 44-day war, stem from only one reason. I have not yet addressed the changes in the behavior of the authorities, the terminology used concerning the captives, and how the 'heroic guys' transformed into 'cowards.'

The issue of captives and prisoners of war has been one of the most discussed topics in various contexts over the past year. This authority, aware of its impotence and inability, is attempting to remove the issue of prisoners of war from the public and political agenda by discrediting them, labeling them as 'cowards' and criminals without distinction.

Let me say right away, regardless of the circumstances and reasons for their captivity, individuals returning from captivity have always gone through proper procedures. Those who have committed crimes must face legal responsibility; however, targeting people and labeling them as criminals before legally binding verdicts are passed is unacceptable.
