Body of Young Man Found in Pond Near Sotk Village

On December 10, at 15:32, the Gegharkunik regional crisis management center received a report that personal belongings of a citizen had been discovered in a pond near the village of Sotk (approximately 2-3 meters deep), suggesting that the individual had fallen into the pit.

Two firefighting teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers used pumps to carry out water removal operations (around 6 meters deep), ultimately locating and retrieving the body of the citizen (G.A., born in 1995) from the pond.
