First Meeting of the '3+3' Format on South Caucasus Issues to Take Place in Moscow Tomorrow

The first meeting of the '3+3' cooperation platform, dedicated to the issues of ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus, will take place at the level of deputy foreign ministers on December 10 in Moscow, as reported by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to aysor.am.

Yesterday, during a Q&A session with parliament, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed his previously stated position that Armenia could be interested in the '3+3' format if it becomes clear that topics under discussion in that platform are not addressed in other formats where Armenia is participating.

In this regard, he noted that there are positive signals from Russian partners, and on December 10, there will be a preparatory meeting for the '3+3' format.

“In the coming days, if I am not mistaken, a preliminary meeting for the '3+3' or '3+2' format will take place on December 10, and yes, the Republic of Armenia will participate at the level of deputy foreign ministers, as this preliminary meeting will be held in the format of deputy foreign ministers, where further actions will be discussed,” Pashinyan announced.
