Delimitation and Demarcation Work Must Start Quickly: Lavrov

Russia believes that the delimitation and demarcation of the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan should commence as soon as possible. This was stated by Sergey Lavrov during a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan on Wednesday evening, as reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The Russian side emphasized the necessity to begin the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as soon as possible, followed by demarcation work. Additionally, it was highlighted the need to translate the agreements reached by the trilateral working group of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan into practical actions within the framework of the trilateral working group concerning the unblocking of regional infrastructure," the statement read.
