Bomb Reported in Three Floors of Erebuni Dormitory: Details
Today, on December 9, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:00 AM, reports were received by the Emergency Ministry's rescue service 911 and the operational management centers of the Armenian police, indicating that a bomb was planted on the 6th, 7th, and 8th floors of the dormitory located at 127/3 Noy Aresh Street.
According to shamshyan.com, firefighting and rescue units from the Emergency Ministry quickly arrived on the scene, along with bomb disposal experts and canine units. An emergency medical response team from Yerevan and an operational group from the Erebuni police department, led by department head Armen Gasparyan, also responded swiftly.
The police patrol unit of the Yerevan garrison, under the command of Commander Aram Dadoyan and Squad Leader Harutyun Grigoryan, conducted intensified service at the site. Currently, firefighters and police are evacuating residents from the building, and search operations are underway.
According to sources, Erebuni police have also located the person who reported the incident, who has been taken to the Erebuni police department.
