Home of Fallen Hero in Gegharkunik Province Robbed

A despicable act occurred in Gegharkunik Province days ago. According to Shamshyan.com, in the village of Ljashen, thieves broke into the home of Vruyr Vardanyan, the son of Avetik Vardanyan, a resident of Gegharkunik Province, and stole a "Baksi" type heating boiler along with 72 heating batteries.

Information about the burglary was received today by the Sevan police department. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. According to the reports, the house had been under renovation and belonged to Vruyr Avetiki Vardanyan, a 24-year-old who was a resident of Gegharkunik Province and had served in the Artsakh Defense Army after moving from the Russian Federation to Armenia. He died during the 44-day war.

The family was renovating the hero's home, and the relatives of the hero did not wish to report the theft to the authorities; instead, the information was obtained through operational means at the Sevan police. The family of the hero has suffered damages amounting to approximately 600,000 drams.
