Body of Policeman Found with Gunshot Wound to Head

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident has occurred in Yerevan. Around 14:00, the operational management center of the Armenian police received a call reporting that a male body was discovered in a monitored area by the National Police’s Public Security Department, where the investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s Yerevan transportation crime unit is located.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators found the body of a 40-year-old man identified as T.A., who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Preliminary information suggests that the incident may be a suicide.

The Malatya investigative department is preparing materials regarding the case. The head of the National Police’s Public Security Department, David Sargsyan, has also arrived at the scene. A firearm has also been discovered at the location.
