Fire in One of the Private Houses in Gavar City: Body Found in Bedroom

Today, on December 12, a tragic incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. At approximately 15:10, the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Service received a report about a fire that broke out in one of the houses in the Hatzarat neighborhood of Gavar city.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, firefighters extinguished the fire in the bedroom of house number 22 on Henrik Abrahamyan Street, where a partially charred body was discovered on the bedroom floor.

Police have established that the owner of the house is Arsen Melkonyan, while the deceased is identified as 43-year-old Victoria Antonishin. Investigative materials are being prepared by the Gavar police department.
