Former Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan to Receive New Position Soon: 'Past'
According to the newspaper 'Past', former Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan is set to receive a new position in the near future. The source noted that there is currently no clarity on where Karapetyan's next appointment will be, but there are indications that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan implied to him after his dismissal that he 'will not be left in the air' and will definitely be kept in the spotlight.
It is true that Karapetyan has struggled with his dismissal and has complained to those close to him about his former leader, stating that he has been treated unfairly and that he did not deserve such treatment. However, the promise of a new position forces Karapetyan to keep his teeth clenched and not express his grievances towards the authorities.
According to the newspaper, Pashinyan is also interested in assigning a position to him and keeping him under his control because Karapetyan has a brilliant understanding of the peculiarities of failures within the security system, and it cannot be ruled out that at some point he may create problems for the government.
It should be noted that, as we reported days ago, among the reasons for Arshak Karapetyan's dismissal were reports to Pashinyan that he also possesses a passport of the Russian Federation.
