Fire in Vanadzor: Body Found in Apartment

On December 4 at 11:40 AM, the Lori regional crisis management center received a report of smoke seen coming from the roof of a building on Agayan Street in Vanadzor.

An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department, along with two firefighting units and one aerial ladder, responded to the scene.

It was determined that a fire had broken out in the bedroom of one of the apartments on Agayan Street. The fire was contained by 12:18 PM and extinguished by 12:50 PM.

In the bedroom, the body of the resident, R. K. (born in 1947), was discovered on the bed. Two beds were burned, and one wardrobe sustained heat damage.
