VIDEO: Car Stolen and Hidden Under a Haystack; Police Discovery

The police have reported that on September 15, a report was received at the Dilijan police department about a "VAZ-2121" model car being stolen from Orjonikidze Street.

The operational group immediately arrived at the scene. The law enforcement officials recorded when and where the theft occurred. A search operation was initiated.

As a result of operational and investigative measures, the police identified that the car was stolen by a 25-year-old resident of Haghartsin village. Thanks to explanatory work, on November 15, the suspect presented himself at the Dilijan police department. It later became clear that he had hidden the stolen vehicle in the Teghut area, under a haystack. The car was discovered at the specified location.

On October 10, the operational management center of the Dilijan police also received a report that the lock on a shop door on Kalinini Street had been broken using technical means, and clothing and shoes were stolen. A criminal case was initiated in the Dilijan investigative department.

As a result of the measures taken and the combination of evidence obtained during the preliminary investigation, it was established that the theft was committed by the same 25-year-old young man who had stolen the "VAZ-2121" vehicle, along with two accomplices.

The aforementioned individuals have been detained. The circumstances of the incidents are being clarified during the investigation.
