Visitor Stabs Security Guard in Kazan Mall After Being Asked for QR Code
A visitor to a shopping center in Kazan has stabbed a security guard after the guard requested to see a QR code.
According to TASS news agency, the victim was injured in the hand and was provided with medical assistance at a healthcare facility. The assailant, a man born in 1973, has been apprehended. Authorities are currently determining whether to initiate a criminal case.
Since October 11, it has been mandatory to show QR codes to enter shopping malls, food establishments, sports complexes, and other public places in Kazan.
