Before Meeting with Aliyev, Putin Discusses with Shoigu and a Deputy Prime Minister
Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned during negotiations with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that he had spoken with Russia's Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu, the head of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, and one of the deputy prime ministers before their meeting.
“I just spoke with my colleagues. I spoke with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government, whom you know well, who is dealing with economic issues, the unblocking of transport corridors, border services, and has a significant role in the regulation process,” said Putin.
