Bayramov Makes New Statement on Border Demarcation with Armenia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, discussed the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan during a video conference with Annika Seder, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office's Special Representative for the South Caucasus. Azerbaijani media report on this matter.
Bayramov briefed Seder on the regional situation, the implementation of trilateral statements, and Azerbaijan's measures taken towards the opening of transport communications. The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister stated that Azerbaijan is committed to ensuring lasting peace and security in the region and is ready to initiate the delimitation process with Armenia based on the principles of international law.
According to the statement, Yerevan has not yet responded to this proposal.
