US President Joe Biden has gone on a mini vacation to Massachusetts for five days, the White House reported, citing NBC Boston, as reported by Gazeta.

According to reporters at the presidential pool, Biden has already arrived at the fashionable resort island of Nantucket. Based on Biden's schedule, he has no public events planned until the end of the week, and Thanksgiving, a national holiday in the US, is celebrated on November 25. Many Americans take time off or vacations around this holiday to spend time with their loved ones.

During a press briefing at the White House, President's Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked how the leader of the state could explain his vacation “surrounded by billionaires” when inflation has led to a significant increase in the traditional Thanksgiving table. “Now is the time to put politics aside, spend time with loved ones, and talk about what we are thankful for... Wherever the president is, he will work,” Psaki's remarks were quoted by RIA Novosti.
