Armenian Governor to Become Deputy Prime Minister
The Government's e-gov.am platform reports that Hambardzum Matevosyan has been relieved of his duties as the Governor of Armavir Province. According to "Haykakan Zhamanak" (Armenian Time), Matevosyan will be appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia. This position became vacant after Suren Papikyan was appointed Minister of Defense.
It is noteworthy that Matevosyan was appointed as governor on October 16, 2018.
