Soldiers Forbidden to Film Their Service Episodes and Share Online: "Hraparak"

"Hraparak" newspaper reports: "In the recent clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani side has been distributing videos through various Telegram channels, showing how Azerbaijani soldiers take Armenian soldiers captive, beat them, and humiliate them. This creates the impression that our soldiers are helpless, lack fighting skills, surrender quickly, and do not defend themselves and their assigned positions. Of course, such shameful scenes do occur, and it is important to understand why our soldiers find themselves in such situations. However, our forces have also engaged in heroic battles, destroying the enemy, which, however, is not being filmed or disseminated by us.

We were told that Armenian soldiers are forbidden to film episodes of their service and share them online. This refers to heroic moments involving our soldiers during combat operations. Meanwhile, Azerbaijanis manage to film and disseminate their own actions, even those they have not taken, thereby conducting psychological warfare and winning the information war. Our side even passed a law prohibiting journalistic activities at the border, not realizing that this means losing the information war and ceding ground to the enemy."
Detailed coverage in today’s issue of the newspaper.
