Recent Notable Incident in One Ministry: Eavesdropping and Interrogation

According to the newspaper «Hraparak», Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan seems to have begun to fear his own shadow. He is not only spending millions of dollars on purchasing security programs from abroad and eavesdropping on political opponents, but under his orders, ministries have been soundproofed floor by floor, room by room.

A notable incident recently occurred in the Ministry of Defense. The head of one of the subordinate bodies interrogated his staff of four under instructions received from high-ranking officials. He demanded an explanation from his employees as to why they criticized Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, calling him a “traitor” and “capitulator,” right at the workplace during working hours.

One by one, the employees were called in for a talk, including one woman, and explanations were demanded. The male employees recited confessions promising not to do it again, but the female employee countered, stating, “I did well; it is my constitutional right. Is Armenia no longer a democratic country that I cannot express my opinion?”
