Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry Dismisses Soldiers for Sharing Unauthorized Photos and Videos of November 16 Military Actions

Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov held a service meeting today with the military leadership, during which they analyzed the situation along the border with the Republic of Armenia and the recent clashes.

The Ministry of Defense expressed concern over the unauthorized distribution of photos and videos related to the military operations that took place on November 16 along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on social media.

According to the ministry’s statement, the command of the ministry has identified and dismissed soldiers who disseminated information containing secrets or were connected to such disclosures. The materials gathered in the case have been sent to law enforcement agencies.
