Mikhail Saakashvili Transferred to Gori Military Hospital

Yesterday evening, it became known that Georgia's third president, Mikhail Saakashvili, is being transferred from the hospital of the Gldani #18 prison to the Gori military hospital.

Saakashvili was admitted to a special unit at the Gori military hospital.

As reported, Saakashvili agreed to go to the Gori military hospital and stated that he would cease his hunger strike, which has been ongoing for nearly 50 days, upon transfer. Doctors had recently raised alarms about his critically deteriorating health, indicating that it could lead to heart failure.
