1-Year-Old Syrian Child Dies at Polish-Belarusian Border

A 1-year-old child's death has been recorded at the Polish-Belarusian border. This was reported by TASS. It is noted that the case concerns the child of Syrian migrants who, along with another man, had been stranded in the forest for 1.5 months.

The information was disclosed by the "Polish Center for International Aid" fund. "The young child suffered from severe abdominal pain, was hungry and dehydrated, in addition to needing assistance for the Syrian couple. The husband had a cut and stab wound on his hand, while the wife had an injury on her leg. Their one-year-old child died in the forest," the released information states.
