Pro-government Representative's Associate Released, While Charchyan Remains Detained: Vardevanyan

“It is unclear what the approach is, as it turns out that in one case people are released on bail, while in other cases they are consistently held in detention,” stated Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the 'Armenia' parliamentary group, during a conversation with reporters.

“Recently, an associate of one of the pro-government representatives was released on bail in another high-profile case. Let's compare this to Armen Charchyan. He is a doctor-professor, a member of parliament, and has an impeccable reputation, having never been tarnished in the past, yet he remains detained despite his health issues. Meanwhile, in the other case, a person has been released,” added the opposition MP.
