One of the Victims of the Tragic Accident in Aragatsotn Province is a 2-Year-Old Child: Details

As we have already reported, today at 19:30, the Aragatsotn regional crisis management center received a call that an accident had occurred near the curves of the village of Ushi.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a "Mercedes" vehicle (driver: S.G.) had collided with a "Belarus" tractor at the 9 km mark of the Ashtarak-Aparan highway, veering off the roadway and overturning.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, passengers of the Mercedes, 25-year-old Ani H. and 2-year-old Khachatur M., were pulled from the vehicle with the help of bystanders and were transported to the Ashtarak Medical Center by doctors who arrived quickly, but unfortunately, they lost consciousness on the way and passed away.

A criminal case has been opened under the features of Part 3 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Police and the investigation department are determining the health conditions of the drivers and the deceased. According to G. Shamshyan, the deceased were mother and son.
