Opposition's Access to the Frontline is Forbidden, There is a Situation Being Kept Under Wraps - Tigran Abrahamyan

“Representatives of the government, media, and NGOs have visited the frontline, but it is effectively prohibited for the opposition to go there. There are concerns that events or situations are taking place at the front that the authorities are trying to keep under wraps at all costs,” stated Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the “I Have Honor” faction, in an interview with 24News.

Referring to the fact that on December 18, the Armenian side was forced to withdraw from the areas of Sanasar and Kovsakan, the MP emphasized that even if there was a deadlock and negotiations about concessions were underway, there should have been a certain logic, as sections were conceded that have given Azerbaijan significant advantages both strategically and tactically, putting Syunik under threat.

“These sections were not included in the November 9 document; otherwise, deadlines would have been set for them as well, just like in the cases of Kashatagh and Karvachar,” he added.
