Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Body of a Boy Found Under Davitashen Bridge

On November 2, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 7:00 PM, a call was received at the operational management center of the Armenian Police that a citizen had jumped off the Davitashen Bridge.

According to Shamshyan.com, police officials including Hovhannes Aristakesyan, head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police, Gevorg Poghosyan, head of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Mashtots Police, and Armen Harutyunyan, head of the Davitashen Police, arrived at the scene.

Officers and investigators discovered the body of a boy, aged between 15 and 17, in an inaccessible area beneath the bridge. Rescuers are now bringing ropes to assist in moving the body to a vehicle designated for transport.

Investigations are underway in the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police and investigators are working to determine the identity of the deceased.
