Zakharova on the Return of Five Armenian Prisoners

Russia welcomes the return of five Armenian prisoners from Azerbaijan and hopes that this process will continue. This was announced during a briefing yesterday by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

“On October 19, with the support of Russian military personnel, five more Armenian prisoners returned home from Azerbaijan. We welcome this step by Baku and express hope that the process of repatriating the detained individuals will continue,” Zakharova said.
